Hello everyone how have you all been?
It's been a good week here! Elder Sammons and I have been winding down on our time together, and we have had a full week of appointments with members and people we are teaching. It's a good way to finish off our time together.
We get to go to the temple together for the last Pday of the transfer which will be super fun! I love to be able to go to the temple and be reminded of all the wonderful blessings we can all receive because of Christs sacrifice for us.
I hope you all have a great week! I cant wait to tell you all what happens at transfers next week!
Love you guys.

Sea World
Hey everyone how is it going!? It's been an awesome week here in sunny San Diego and I hope you've all had great weeks as well!
This week we spent a lot of time in Old Town because we have had a lot of service opportunities there. The first two were pretty simple. We helped set up and take down for an earth day event they hosted. We pitched a lot of canopies that we built and staked down. It was fun work, and we helped them out a lot. They told us it would have taken their crew like 8 hours to do it, but we got it done in about two. The next service was helping with one of the gardens they have in Old Town. We helped clean up the area and dig motes around all of the trees they have in the garden.
The highlight of this last week was the baptism of someone the other Elders have been teaching. Her name is Clarissa! She is a super sweet lady that has really gotten to know all of the missionaries in the ward because we have all been very involved with her and helping her learn and prepare. She was baptized this last Saturday and confirmed a member Sunday. It was one of my favorite days here in City Heights so far! All of us Elders sang I am a Child of God during the baptismal service, and we didn't sound half bad!
And today for pday, Clarissa has access to a lot of free Sea World tickets, and she wanted to take ALL the missionaries in the ward! Like holy cow there are a lot of us! But yeah, we'll be doing that with her today! I'm super excited!
I love you all and I hope you have a fantastic week!

Hola
Hey everyone how's it going!? Sorry I've been bad about writing lately, we've had some pretty busy pdays the last few weeks.
Today we had a cool opportunity to tour a replica of the Moses Tabernacle, which the Israelites carried with them for the period of time they were in the wilderness. It was cool to learn about the rituals and ceremonies they did in the old testament times, as well as see the symbolism in all of it.
We've been having a lot of fun in the ward now that there are five companionships. Its super fun to work with all the missionaries to help the ward out and learn from each other.
Not too much to talk about, but I just wanted to mention my feelings about President Nelsons talk in the priesthood session of general conference. He was addressing the men of the church, but I think it can apply to everyone. He said we all can do better and be better.
I'm evaluating my life and doing my best to find ways I can be a better missionary and man. I encourage you all to read and study the conference talks from this past weekend, and I promise you will be enlightened by the spirit!
I love you all!
